Project Controls Manager:

 

1.      Head, lead and manage a team of project controls and planners worked on site.

2.      Reporting directly to Managing director, unit’s director and project controls director.

3.      Assess, hire project controls and set the staff schedule.

4.      Manage the contractual scope including any variation orders or scope slippage.

5.      Recommend and customize project control systems to satisfy project requirements.

6.       Review Time/ Cost estimates with other departments to confirm feasibility and validate Time / Cost estimates.

7.      Prepared delayed delay analysis & justify which forensic analysis techniques appropriate for the project condition.

8.      Guide & Assist for a resolution of project difficulties and complex control problems.

9.      Review and manage project schedules to identify progress, Resources required, project sequence of construction and recovery plans.

10.    Sets a goal and objective for the project controls team assigning the duties and responsibilities per each team individual.

11.   Interact with clients and attend regular meetings and provide project status & reports.

12.   Review periodic monthly and weekly progress reports.

13.   Assists with the preparation of estimated cost of variances for change management, forecast cost analysis, and development of Cash-in flow.

14.   Review periodic invoices with the actual work progress on site.

15.   Review subcontractor’s schedules ensuring schedule requirement compliance, accurate and timely updates, slippage recovery.

16.   Set the criteria for project progress calculations and measurements.

17.   Training and mentoring of junior planners & project controller on the project.

18.   Attending Top management meeting.

19.   Initiating KPI (Key Performance Indicators) to asses’ project managers’ performance.

20.   Initiate proper corrective actions in case of project delays.
