BRIEF DESCRIPTIONS    OF  DUTIES        :

Directly responsible to Planning Manager to work in accordance with appropriate project procedures, instructions, work practices, schedules and budgets and develop additional project specific procedures where necessary. To deal with the project execution plan, organization, schedule, work scope, allocated construction contracts and associated drawings, engineering standards and work statements. Prepare activity plans to accomplish scope of work required by the procedures and ensure sufficient planning resources are provided. To ensure that a physical progress measurement system is in place and to establish, maintain and report against a viable and meaningful physical progress system as well as to analyze the results, suggest recovery plans and forecast man-hours based on progress trends and expenditures to date. Ensure the timely preparation and issue of all site related planning and scheduling data including Level 3 schedules, manpower projection plans histograms, critical equipment lists, progress curves and Productivity factor. Work and supervised with the construction contractors to produce specific programs and schedules to maintain progress and open up new work fronts and availability of heavy lifts, etc. Produce and issue the weekly and monthly Management progress reports for review, analyzes and evaluation. Attend the weekly/monthly meetings as required. Maintain an accurate schedule and control curves in an updated condition and prepare forecasts of trends against the man hours, material quantities and budgets. Responsible for personal safety working condition at sites and ensure compilation of statistical and end of job information.
