Projects Involved:Interior Fit Out & MEP works @ Airport Lounges, TDIC’s Crystal Night Club & restaurants, Novotel & Ibis Hotels, Trader Vics, Five Star Hotel at JAL Towers, Bridge Way -Rocco Forte Hotel, Cleveland Clinic, Various Other projects [Restaurants, Offices, and Retail Fit Outs, Health Club].

Responsibilities:

  • Arriving trade specific labour productivity rates and consolidating it along the lines of regional standards for effective site productivity monitoring & manpower recruitment & deployment.
  • Liaising with project team to prepare detailed workable construction schedule & trackers including various histograms [Material, Quantity, and Labour] and progress curves.
  • Meticulously plugging in the triggers & drivers into the program to meet future risk events within the framework of FIDIC based or similar contract agreements.
  • Constant monitoring of sub-contractor work progress & flag of schedule slippages to management.
  • Preparing periodical Group Manpower requirement [2000+] forecast in coordination with various business units for management’s review.
  • Preparing EOT claim build using TIA & Impacted-As-Planned Methods towards legal proceedings or final settlements.
  • Making Contract correspondence& attending various meetings with Client and Contractors.
  • Acquiring & developing a team of planners to achieve the set targets for planning department.
  • Defining KRA analysis report & Scorecard for performance measurement of planning function, aligned with the corporate goals.

 Key Achievements:

  • Successfully initiated and implemented project and manpower control procedures resulting inmanpower optimisation &overall project completion on time & cost.
  • Developed & published a database of manpower productivity norms throughout the group companies which lead to the optimisation of manpower productivity & improve cost saving.
  • Received appreciationsfrom management for providingtraining sessions for other functional divisions on the significances of planning, which lead to the enforcement of planning process.
