As an occupational health and safety practitioner it behoves on me to understand myself and others I work with so as to create a congenial working relationship. My role as a safety superintendent should create a change for the attainment of organizational goals namely the  safety embedded as 'our first value'. I have to demonstrate this in all my activities by walking the talk.
