Responsibilities:

·         Responsible for extended construction phase planning of Sadara Port 42 chemical storage tanks (CS and SS) and one 25m dia Butene sphere. Eight of these tanks have a concrete outer double containment wall.

·         Developed construction operation plan in conjunction with the Project Engineering & Scheduling team.

·         Involved in planning construction duration, construction methodology & thoughts on grouping foundation and walls with the tank design and construction for Port Tank Farm & SASREF HFO Facilities.

·         Supported FEED construction planning

·         Prepared milestone schedules during the conceptual phase, construction management & planning with constructability sessions and pre-construction conferences during detail engineering. 

·         Analyzed project design drawings and plans to determine what construction problems are involved.

·         Met with contractor job supervisors, assigned construction engineers, and any others involved in the project, to define and discuss the construction plan.

·         Analyzed construction schedule and sequence to ensure that all forecasted manpower and equipment availability limitations have been recognized, considered and overcome.

b)     Construction of 9 Nos. LPG Vessels ø 4.5 m x 27m (tangent to tangent length).

 B- Designation: Project Engineer /Site Incharge (Projects – Technical Division)  

Project: Byco Chemicals Pakistan Limited (BCPL),Construction work on the 9 Nos. (27 m ø x 14.63 m ht.) new product storage tanks for Raffinate, C-9, Benzene, Mixed Xylene, Para Xylene & Ortho Xylene.

Project Cost:$600MM      

Responsibilities:            

·         Responsible for construction activities planning, monitoring and coordination / liaison with contractor.

·         Management of engineering, construction activities and project coordination services as per project drawings, specifications and scope of work for mechanical works.

·         Monitored and analyzed the project progress, developed statistical reports and highlighted lack of progress according to plan and target schedule.

·         Organized internal meetings to address and expedite the issues of progress and material procurement.

·         Assessed the impacts of design/ construction changes and schedule slippages.

Responsibilities:

·         Engineering management & project coordination services as per project specifications & scope of work.

·         Site supervision of construction works for compliance with drawings and specifications.

Project:Makwind Energy Pvt. Ltd 50MW Wind Farm near Nooriabad, Sindh, Pakistan. The farm was estimated to generate 153GW of electricity per year.

Project Cost:$120MM

Responsibilities:

·         Developed financial model and feasibility report of the Makwind Energy.

·         Calculated tariff, studied site selection, analyzed wind data and micro-siting of wind farm.

·         Determined energy yield of farm.

Project:IFFCO Edible Oil Refinery Expansion Project at Port Qasim Karachi.

The expansion Included New 200TPD Edible Oil Refinery, Margarine Producing Unit, Hydrogen Generation Unit & Packaging of the Products
