Designation : Planning Engineer and Cost Controller. MY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES IN PLANNING & SCHEDULING (PastProjects): ::· Prepare the schedule in primavera P6 later version for Engineering, procurementand construction parts up-to level 5 schedule as per clients required.· Preparation of “PROJECT CONTROL PLAN” and submit to client and prepare“PROJECT CONTROL INSTRUCTION DOCUMENT” for contractors.· Prepare the document for Management Kick-off meeting and Prepare the minutes ofmeeting and maintain the minutes recording.· To define calendars – defining hourly, daily calendar activities definition,sequencing.· To use advanced scheduling options, defining & assigning activity & WBS codes.· Prepare project schedule which Perform planning for the different levels of theschedule hierarchy: contract, and detailed activity planning within a project, andcoordination of the contract with the program.· Assign primary Base line for project and compare Actual progress with Base lineprogress.· Prepare S-Curve (planned progress Vs actual progress) for the projects onweekly/monthly basis.· Prepare budgets for the projects on weekly/monthly basis.· Project progress monitoring whether as per the schedule or any slippage onweekly/monthly basis.· Monitoring/discuss project status; reviewing during the course of project reviewmeetings.· Evaluation of project, present cost / benefits analysis at project decision points.· Perform resource planning and analysis. Forecast the demands of various types ofresources including labor, materials, and equipment over the course of the projectand maintaining progress monitoring sheets with linking for all works.· Tracing & monitoring the critical path and its analysis.· Preparation and presentation of daily & weekly progress reports.· Manpower Histograms, Resource & Cost loading Reports, Bar Charts, Time ScheduleLogics· Making of B.O.Q for the required to the Project.· Preparation of Comparison statements.· Technical and Commercial Evaluation of Offers.· Providing clear and accurate interpretations of tender to the senior management.· Coordination with other Departments and Suppliers of source components and material tothe Project.· Preparation of Techno Commercial synopsis of tender, cost estimation, project analysis andTechno Commercial bid· Prepare recovery schedule whether there is any delay in project.· Attending and fulfilling the requirements of weekly progress meeting.· Attending Pre Bid, Tender Opening and Post Bid Meetings, Discussion withClient/Consultant· Planning, evaluating and implementing the progress plan scheduled by the contractor andsub-contractors and expediting the activities to achieve the milestones.Skills & Reporting Knowledge’s: ::· Advanced working knowledge of Primavera P6 up to 8.2(web Ex.) plan, organize, reviewand develop complex EPC schedules.· Working with Microsoft Excel for Reporting for program team data and monitoring teamwith advanced working with VBA too.· Proficient in CPM scheduling, resource loading and leveling the resources according toshift basis.· Good Fundamental Engineering knowledge and Problem solving Knowledge.
