A construction professional, chartered MCIOB, with a stable and diverse career path across theindustry in the UK and internationally with knowledge and experience acquired working in the UK,Middle East, Northern Asia and Indian subcontinent.

I am conversant with numerous planner tools such as PowerprojectTeam Planning software, Microsoft Project and a working knowledge of Primavera P3 – P6.

My focus for project controls has been via process and time analysis through ‘buildability’ and innovation, combined with Lean Planning and Delivery Improvement methods. I believe good project control is the practice of knowing where you are and where you are supposed to be, forecasting and predicting what lies ahead and how this can affect or influence an outcome and where you will actually end, up such that preventative and corrective action is implemented now rather than retrospectively. As a project manager and contract manager I have been involved in the compilation and management of project management life cycle programmesfor, Townships (SEZ’s in India), PFI, hotels, process facilities, hospitals, airport facilities and numerous commercial projects.

I have undertaken claims analysis of programme data from a critical path perspective related to an as-built and impacted perspective and produced and analysedtime slice programmesfor adjudication.  

My professional formative years were established in Quantity Surveying culminating in operationalroles of Project, Contracts and Operations Manager. I have held senior management positions ofCOO, Operations Director (Vice President Operations) & Group Technical Director.

I currently operate on a group management board with have full P&L and operational responsibilities for a diverse set of Divisional business operating throughout the MENA region. These businesses comprise: Joinery Facility & Factory, Fit Out Division, MEP Division, Ceilings & Partitions Division including Interiors Fit Out Commercial, Steel Fabrication Factory, Steel Erection and Specialist Installation, Architectural Metalwork, Building Products Division and Special Projects / Property Services Division.
