I am a graduate in Mechanical Engineering having 34 years of Hands-on Experience in Project Execution and Management Group of Various Multinational Companies of International standard for various EPC Projects, My Main Responsibilities were but not limited to Coordination with client and subcontractors, Planning, Scheduling, Monitoring and reporting of Construction and commissioning activities, cost control, Change Order, Invoicing to client, Checking Subcontractors Invoice, Responsible of networking  computers at sites, Local Purchase Orders, Erection, Execution and Construction  in India and Abroad

I have been working with Various EPC companies  for their Project Control group and during that period my main responsibilities were as follows but not limited to 

1.        Define scope in consultation with  project  and contract team

2.        Establish WBS ( Work Breakdown Structure )

3.        Develops and maintains systems and procedures covering the areas of planning, scheduling progress measurement and reporting.

4.        Discuss project execution strategies and implementation schedules for projects with Project team and develop the project schedule accordingly for implementation,

5.        Prepare suitable contractual documents according to the provisions of the contract to provide appropriate planning and scheduling data, information and documentation to client.

6.        Prepare Project Master schedule and regular updates of the schedules as required in the contracts

7.         Develop curves and bar charts and their periodical updates

8.        Identifies and reviews regularly the critical and sub-critical activities and their impact on he project schedules and discuss remedial actions.

9.        Monitors the reported progress of Sub-Contractors and ensures that the reports accurately reflect the actual performance and productivity and prepare consolidated weekly progress report for management and client

10.     Review the Weekly and Monthly Reports submitted by Contractors

11.     Coordinate with Material group for timely delivery of material at site to avoid possible delay due to lack of material.

12.     Reviews and evaluates the claims submitted by Sub-Contractors.

13.     Reviews the work forecasts and plans for remaining activities

14.     Prepares the Project Organization Chart, WBS, Chart and mobilization / demobilization plan for Construction works.

15.     Analyses and identifies areas of concern, work progress trends for potential problems, examines implications of such problems and recommends for possible course of action to avoid/minimize such impact arid ensure timely completion of projects.

16.     Attends regular weekly progress review meetings.

17.     Prepares weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for management and client and project close-out reports after completion of the project.

18.     Reviews resource deployments and work of sub-contractors and recommends
corrective actions

19.      Prepare Monthly construction cost reports

20.      Prepare Monthly Photographic and Video graphic reports for Top Management

21.      Management of Site IT Systems including Local Networks and Computer systems at site.

B.E. in Mechanical from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology Patiala ( Punjabi University )(India), 1975

Ø       Training on PERTMASTER software on risk analysis in UK by Pertmaster and KLG Systel. In India

Ø       Four months Extensive Training on various In-house software’s of Project Management and planning in Milan ( Italy )

Ø       Crash course in mini cement plant technology at CRI  Delhi.

Worked  with M/s CBI for their LPG Tanks project for GASCO in Abu Dhabi as Project Control Manager. And responsible for all the project control function related to the Project

Worked with CSM&A as Planning & Progress Coordinator for LNG Train 4 & 5, AKG, and Various other options,Tanks work  for Ras Laffan expansion project (EPC Project) Qatar. some of the main responsibility at the  moment  are  but not limited to

Coordination with client and sub contractors attending meetings

Worked from 1st June 2001 to August 2003 for GOSP II project in Haradh (Saudi Arabia) and from Sept 2003 till 4th June 2004 at Mellitah (Libya) for WLGP Gas processing Plant as Field Control coordinator. 

·Preparation of construction master schedule and timely updates.

·Development of the Progress Measurement System at site (including Level 4 databases)

·Preparing management reports analysis of progress. Coordination with various departments and subcontractors. Cost control report, preparation of Site related Project Procedures/Plans

·Checking subcontractors work progress on weekly basis and contractors Monthly Invoice

Worked with Korean Multinational Co. for Their Sulphur handling expansion –II project in Ruwais (Abudhabi) as Sr. Planning engineer some of my main responsibilities were as follows

·     Preparation, updating & monitoring shutdown plan.

·     Management reports for ADNOC and SKEC management.

·     Co-ordination between site construction home office and engineering.

·     Prepare various types of weekly & Monthly reports for management and client including photographic report

·     Follow up of material procurement and reporting to Top management for critical materials

Worked as Project Control Manager For their various fertiliser (EPC) projects in India, lndogulf fertiliser project Jagdishpur, Tata Chemicals & Fertilizer at Babrala and Chambal Fertilizer & Chemicals at Gadepan ( Kota ) and (750 MTPD Ammonia and 11 50 MTPD Urea) at Kakinada in India.

My main responsibilities were

·     Reports related to budget and forecast of costs for logistic and construction.

Worked AS Erection Engineer for their sites in India at Tuticorin (3 x 210 MW Thermal Power Plant) of BHEL and Ramagundam (3 x 200 MW Thermal Power plant of Ansaldo -for NTPC India),

·     Pre-assembly, Erection, alignment and inspection of steel structures & pressure parts.

·     Interaction with client.

·     Prepare Erection program and follow up of the same

·     Billing of erection portion

Ram Ganga Project Kalagarh (Irrigation Dept U.P.)

Worked AS Works engineer for one year in fabrication workshop and around two years in the repair and maintenance workshop of Heavy Earth Moving Equipment's of the Hydroelectric power project during this period I was responsible for

·     Fabrication and erection of Hydro-mechanical equipment such AS Gates and super structure for barrage Gates.

·    Maintenance, Major Repair and overhauling of earth moving equipment's such AS dozers, dumpers, graders, loaders and cranes etc.
