I have 18 years’ international experience in providing commercial, contractual and technical project controls services and advice to contractors and subcontractors in relation to a wide range of industry sectors including building, heavy civil engineering, infrastructure, process engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, petrochemical engineering, construction projects, procurement and contract management. I have gained extensive experience in estimating and proposal preparations on many projects. I have a unique ability to develop and implement Project Controls Planning Procedures and Systems, claims prevention measures and Change Control on Mega size projects with a keen eye for the “Bigger Picture” of the Project taking all aspects into consideration. My current focus is driving the development of project controls and planning resources throughout the industry. I have developed and implemented successful Skills assessment and development plans in the Project Controls industry. I also specialize in preparing or defending time related claims, including providing expert witness support and direct support to lawyers in arbitration and mediation. I am well versed in ascertaining the facts of delay and demonstrating cause and effect in relation to the preparation and / or defense of extension of time claims using a variety of critical path methods of delay analysis such as Impacted As-Planned, Time Impact Schedule Analysis, Window Analysis, As-Built But-for Schedule Analysis and Collapsed As-Built. I am also experienced in productivity analysis, assessing delay damages due to lost productivity, and in the preparation of acceleration claims. I have gained such experience working in the UK, Australia, Russia, UAE, Bahrain, KSA, Egypt, Chile, Doha and South Africa. Such projects range from Power Stations, Rail & Infrastructure, Petro chemical plants, Copper Mines, Gold Mines, Iron Ore Mines, Diamond Mines, Commercial/High residential towers and Wind Farms. I am currently studying Construction Law, Arbitration and Adjudication with the aim of gaining CIArb fellowship.
