AREAS OF EXPERTISE

Project Management: Finalizing requirements and specifications in consultation with Consultants/Collaborators / Promoters. Anchoring on-site construction activities to ensure completion of project within the time & cost parameters and effective resource utilization to maximize the output. Participating in project meetings for evaluating project progress providing technical inputs. Overseeing various construction activities mainly in Infrastructure projects Viz. National Highway Projects, Power Projects.

Contracts Administration & Management:
•     Evaluating & executing contracting works and coordinating among consultants, contractors and clients.
•     Preparing the tender specifications & finalization of requirements. Liaising with consultants on determining technical and contractual matters. Floating enquiries to Sub –contractors- Civil & Structure works; Developing bid strategies entailing preparation of project reports & bid documents, obtaining management approvals as well as award and management of contracts till closeout.
•     Evaluating contracting works, handling negotiation, award & review of contracts as per contract regimes and administering contract agreement between employer and contractor. Preparing LOAs and other contract documents.
•     Preparing Delay Claims, insurance claims, Variation orders/ Change Orders. Preparation of Monthly Progress bills for submission to Clients.
•     Fore casting the Monthly requirement of construction Materials such as Cement, Steel, Sand and aggregates etc. for the next month based on the stock levels, Look – ahead schedules & accumulated schedule slippages.
•     Quantities take-off for the purpose of Estimation and costing. Preparation of Bill of quantities various Civil works.
•     Processing sub-contractors bills for payment by cross checking against bill of quantities, progress achieved at site.

Site & Construction Management/Resource Planning: Supervising all construction activities including providing technical inputs for methodologies of construction & coordination with site management activities. Overseeing a team of engineers for various types of job and resolving bottlenecks. Preparing and reviewing method statements and work specific quality control plans as per ISO. Ensuring materials received are in accordance with the quantity & quality.

Planning:
•     Establishing the time span of project execution. Preparing master schedules for all projects including resource schedules, execution methodologies, milestones, cash flow projections / budgets and periodic monitoring. Scheduling and monitoring of resources. Monitoring project status during the course of periodic project review meetings. Evaluating designs; coordinating with Architect / Consultants and Sub Contractors for changes as required. Conducting the value engineering / value addition analysis, etc.
•     Preparation of Level – II & III schedules for all civil works & Road works.
•     Progress monitoring all Road works & Structure works, preparation of regular Progress updates &making S curves for the purpose of monitoring. Preparation of monthly Progress reports.
•     Making earned Value reports showing detailed performance in terms of Scheduled work and.
•     Actual work performed at site and budgeted cost for work scheduled and budgeted cost for work performed
•     Highlighting Critical paths, slippage & Bottlenecks and suggesting corrective actions where appropriate by preparing look ahead schedules
•     Preparation of Budget, Cost to completion , resource planning reports.
•     Preparation of look ahead schedule based on WBS & Activity codes to alert the respective heads , indicating Scheduled percentage completion Vs Actual Percent completion of tasks.

Encon Services Limited ( ESL – Group of Lanco Companies) is the on-shore EPC Contractor for M/s HANJUNG of Korea to execute all construction works under the EPC Contract for the Kondapalli Power Corporation , 355 MW Combined Cycle Power Project. ESL is currently coordinating over 30 sub-contractors at site, including GEC-Alsthom, Shriram Tower Tech, Ion Exchange, Bach- Man International and Simplex among others.

Job Profile:
•     Coordinating in developing tender documents for EPC & Non-EPC including techno-commercial negotiations with the bidders. Working in close relation with Consultants for preparation of plant layout like site grading, construction of reservoir, administration building, fire station, pump houses, etc. Dealing & liaising with govt. authorities for ensuring seamless project operations.
•     Preparation of Level – I,II & III schedules for all civil works

Rolls Royce Industrial Power (India) Ltd. was the EPC contractor for the 208 MW Godavari Gas Power Project, a Combined Cycle plant with 3 GTs and a ST. The Owners of the plant are M/s Spectrum Power Generation Ltd. and Subcontractors under Rolls Royce included Westinghouse, International Combustions Limited, Aquatech, Crompton Greaves Limited, UB Engineering and Simplex among others.

Job Profile:
•     During the above period worked in three major areas of work, namely Quantity Survey, piling, Heavy Machinery foundation for Gas Turbine and Steam Turbine and Raw Reservoir
•     Supervision of Construction and Load Testing of 600 and 750 dia Bored Cast In-situ Pile foundations.
•     Construction of Pile caps, heavy machinery foundation bases like for those of GT & Generator and ST & Generator ( Each Base of 800 M3 Cast monolithically ), Bypass Stack, Boiler and Main Stack.
•     Preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ ) for various civil works. Preparing Finishing Schedules for all civil works.
•     Preparation of percentage progress certificates (PPC) and getting approval from clients for claimed percentage and finalizes Percentage Progress Statements.

•     Processing the sub contractors R/A bills for progressive payments including Final Bills. Identifying the back Charges recoveries to be made
