Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

how to generate a planned vs actual curve basis on duration ?

I m working with a schedule wich is without cost & loaded

my duration % complete = 12.33 & my schedule % complete = 40% Keeping in view above percentage i would like to show curves on the basis of duration.  thanks in advance

By definition to draw a curve you need two axis.  Typically in planning these axis are time and resource quantity/cost.

 

if you want to use time for both axis, you need to add a resource that equals the time.  When you add a resource to an activity the default quantity is ususally 1h/h..... Therefore you need to add the same resource to every activity in the plan.  That means the resource qauntity will equal the duration.

All P6's resource/earned curves will be based on the duration of the activities.
