Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

  Pls tell how to import the wbs with heirachy from excel to primavera p6.

You need to:

 

1) Install the SDK (this came with P6, but is not installed by default)

2) Download the file PATTLINK_9212009_2316-WBS file from the Oracle support website. This is an SDK enabled spreadsheet, which allows you to upload the WBS from EXcel into P6.

 

The installation of the SDK, and the creating of the associated Data Source in Windoes, usually requires an IT person with the correct security rights.
