Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Automatic update of duplicate activities in separate projects?

Hi all,

This is our situation:

There is one Master schedule (Project 1). There are three separate Schedules (P2, P3, P4). Project 1 consists of some unique activities (that will be updated directly in the Master) and some activities that are duplicated from those in P2, P3 and P4.

Those activities in P1 are linked to the original activities in P2, P3, P4 by Start to Start logic (P2 -> SS -> P1, etc.) . The intent is to manually update P2, P3 and P4. My question: is there a way to automatically update the duplicate activities in P1? (because we want them to reflect the same info on the Master schedule).

Thank you very much.
