(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Dear All,

How can I assign a material to an activity ? I have tried by making material as a resource but I am unable to choose options from unit of measure tab which is making material as labor resource. How can I overcome this or there is any another way to assign material to activity?

Hi Rohit,

Go to Resources --> Units & Prices tab, under the Price / Unit Settings, input the any number you want to.

Hi Rohit,

Create first the resource in the resources workspace after creating, change the resource type into material, so that you can assign the unit of measure. Then assign it to your activities.
