Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Is there a "Portable" Primavera in the market? Somebody sent me an email, selling me a portable version. First thing on mind says it’s a hoax, but i rather asked the experts in this community.

Thanks & Cheers!

Thanks for the reply Neil.

The link was great but i cannot read a full description of the product, what i was inquiring is a P3/P6 version that can be installed in an external hard drive or flash drive without attaching (or installing anything) to my main drive. Reason why i wanted to have something portable is that, not all projects i am handling has no p3/p6 software, and it will make it easier for me to carry around my works in a portable drive including p3/p6.

Ruel

I’ve seen this product demoed at the annual Primavera user conference in London a couple of years ago

http://www.milestoneuk.com/products/3rd-party-products/sensory-pro-track...

"ProTracker enables Primavera Users to take advantage of the mobility and convenience handheld devices deliver to better manage projects. Project Managers and Team Members can now review and update project status information anytime, anywhere; on the job, on the plant floor, or in a conference room. Companies can more efficiently and effectively collect status information from project teams and keep their schedules up to date."
