Website Upgrade Incoming - we're working on a new look (and speed!) standby while we deliver the project

Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

When I run the Claim Digger under the Tools Menu nothing seems to happen. Do I have to do something else prior?
(I’m wanting to identify deleted activities from the plan so they can be removed off our time clock system)

Did you try an independent tool such as schedule cracker (www.schedulecracker.com)?  It does the job with very nice reports and features.  They offer it for free 14 day full functional trial.

I have hopefully found a fix for the problem in the Primavera KnowledgeBase. (Solution ID: prim42298)
Our IT guy will be looking into the fix ASAP. I’ll let you know.
Thanks again for you input.

Try giving yourself complete admin rights to the drive where the program is located (i.e. C drive. This includes security and read/wire permissions.

Good luck,

Thanks you all for your reply’s but alas, I’m still not having any luck after trying your suggestions. I must have a more deep-seated computer problem.

Hello,

I had in the past the same problem and the solution was as describe by Antonio.

I am not sure (I am not an expert in this matter), but I think it had been solved by a new Oracle version... you might explore this way.

What is sure is that I do not have troubles any more.
Good luck.

Make sure to check the string. We have the string correct but the folder was named something else.

Good luck.

It seems like, but if you minimize Primavera or clicking in the "Show Desktop" you will see a new window (Claim Digger).

Select the project that you want to compare, fields to compare and the kind of report.

AF
