Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

We have just prepared a schedule with almost 800 activities.
Now, we are trying to assign all off the resources that will be used during our project. But there are so much, it’s not possible to create resource dictionary manually.

How can we do? is it possible to import all these resources by using excel?

You don’t mention which version you are using.

Primavera made some utiltites available that you could import/export resources for earlier versions - check out the knowledgebase for details.

In version 6 you can export/import to/from excel.

Either way create at least one resource in Primavera and export this using the utility/export then you will get an indication of the type and format of the data.

Hope this helps.
