Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Problem with Reports

PPlanet,

When I run a report for the budgeted units/cost sorted by WBS the report comes out almost perfect.

However, the sub-totals seem to be out of alignment with their respective columns.

How can I change their alignment so that when I run an asci2 in excel i do not have to manually move all the subtotals?

Yes, that’s been a problem for years now.

The report writer is a b%#@$ to operate, but with it you can inset a text field before columns in the subtotals section.

Hardly elegant but it does circumvent the problem.

This is not a solution to your problem but I have found same when producing resource use by period, sub-totals & totals misalligned, would also like a fix!
