Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi there,

I wonder if someone could remind me how I could sort this out?

I have 5 activities A, B, C, D & E starting at different times from now until April, I have them all linked into another activity (F)which I need to start with the earliest date of the preceeding activities.  However the dates (A-E) start could change and I want  activity (F) to reflect the earliest start of them all as and when. I've tried linking them via SS and FS and FF but none make (F) start date equal the earliest date of A-E.

Any ideas?

thanks all.

Thom

Hi Tom,

If I understand your question. Goto Task Type from activity form for activity F and make Type= Hammock while maintianing your SS relationship to each of A-E, and FF to each A-E.

But Note that F  will have no effect on the schedule but will reflect what you want to see.
