Website Upgrade Incoming - we're working on a new look (and speed!) standby while we deliver the project

Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Dear All,

Please help me with the following. We have a project just started. It’s base line is approved and the first baseline updation is done. Now we have been awarded with some more additional works( which was an optional item earlier). How to include these in the schedule. Do we have to modify the WBS. Can we do it in the approved baseline schedule. This additional works have a time impact also. Apprecite the steps involved in this. pls mail to krishnan_uae@yahoo.com

Regards,
Krishnan

Agree with Gary,

it is imperative that you rebaseline by including this new scope and this should be submitted for acceptance and then this will become your new baseline.

wondering what are the conditions of the contract...?

cheers

1) Copy ther approved baseline schedule,
2) update WBS, activitites, resources, schedule, logic, etc to reflect additional works
3) Make sure you understand & can defend any impact on the schedule for original scope arrising from the addition of the new works.
4) Issue new baseline schedule, manpower loading, cashflow forecasts, etc for approval
