Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

changed the WBS :locate activities with old WBS values

Hello Freinds,
I changed the WBS of a project , now some of the activities which are assigned the previous WBS codes i am unable to locate please can you advise me how i can find activities which have WBS not defined in the WBS dictionary.

thanks ferdinand and oliver , that were excellent ideas.
now while in my wbs layout (with all activities filter) there are 1527 activties , where as when i sort by project i get 1531 activities , i dotn know where the 4 activities go in wbs layout.

mistake...should be --- you must NOT be in WBS layout when you filter

Gchange if WBST eq " " then WBS eq DELETE
then filter all activities WBS eq (no value)

take note: you must be in WBS organized layout when you filter...

In your WBS view, use a spare Activity Code field as a column, and fill this with a value.

Switch to activity view, and with the same column diplayed. Any activity which does not have an entry in the Activity Code field doesnt match the WBS ( I Think !)
