I am having problems with plotting Suretrak / P3 Files on a plotter. All the logic relationship lines and the sight lines are not getting plotted. The same schedule when printed on any printer prints absolutely fine.

Any clues?

It looks like Ron has his fingure on the pulse here.

Both P3 and SureTrak are now up to Service Pack 3.

When plotting, P3 send out the HTML code for drawing the relationship lines last. Old fashioned pen plotters just plot what they are told as fast as they can, signaling the computer when they are ready for more information.

Modern plotters read everything into memory and then plot the entire thing a slice at a time using inkjet technology. If the inkjet plotter memory fills up before the last plot instructions are received, then the overflow is discarded. The result is “some of the relationship lines are missing from my plot.”

The fix is to add memory to your plotter. Good luck!

I had these problems once and never resolved them, I printed to a pdf and then plotted.

Have you got the latest service pack (No3) loaded?
