Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Splitting / Suspend /Resume Activity

Hai all,

Is it possible to split an activity in P3 the way we do in MS-project?? Also how to suspend and resume an activity.

using "suspend and resume date" should be dealth with caution, you can only use it on an activity which is active and has been affected with arising events not to prolong the schedule...

Splitting : select the activity u want and right click on it and select Dissolve / Extract.

Press F7 to show the bottom activity form
Suspend / Resume : select the activity in which u want to apply suspend or resume date then click on "Dates" then select the "Suspend" or "Resume" date.
