Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

1st you will need to survey the existing conditions to determine which cables that you want to fire proof

2nd you will have to prepare the immediate area around the cables that you want to fireproof doing things such as putting plastic on other items that you do not want to get the fire-proofing on.

3rd if possible install ventilation in the area where the fire-proofing is beiing performed

4th you will need to rope of the area where the fire-proofing is being sprayed on.

5th Spraying of the cables is next

6th you will have to clean up any remnants of the fire-proofing that did not adhear

7th remove the plastic that you previously installed

8th remove the ventilation that you previously installed

9th remove the barrier, rope or tape from the area that you previously quarended off

10th done
