Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hello Guys,

I had noticed that sometimes I open my Primavera 6.0 there was a message saying that "Unable to Connect to the Database" but when I re-enter my password "admin" it will connect & started to validate users & finally connected.

However, Two of my colleagues experienced this situation but unfortunately they failed to connect.

What is reason why they cannot connect and what are we going to do with this? Some of them, they are telling that if you are connected to the internet & the "Windows Update" is ON, the Microsoft will automatically update & block the existing Database, is it TRUE?

I need your advice.
