Hi,

Can anybody explain how to evaluate the progress achieved by a LSTK contactor in multi billion project? There aer many such small LSTK contracts in the complete project. This contractor, being LSTK one, reports based on $ values assigned to his main activities.

The principle for evaluating progress for a LSTK package is pretty much the same as any other project.

You can use the $ value as weighted value for each element of work but it will not reflect the actual physical progress. For example, some equipment cost a lot in terms of value but are not classsified as labour intensive works.
I think the best unit of measure for evaluating progress is manhours.

Cheers,
Daniel
