Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hello,
Im seeking any available information as to whether or not there is published literature in regards to production rates for example:

1 Boilermaker can weld so many tubes *dimensions vary and affect production of course* within a 10 hr shift.

Typically I use historical data gathered from previous outages, but Im looking for something for reference. I understand there is a company RS Means that publishes estimate books, but its not quite what Im looking for since I dont estimate bids for contracts. Im looking for it more to use for my resource libraries. I usually go back to my old schedules as time permits and run a lot of what if scenarios to see if a faster turnover was possible.

Thank you for reading.
