Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

I found this publication very helpful:

Construction Planning and Scheduling, 2nd Edition
by Thomas E. Glavinich PE,
AGC of Amercia, 2004
341 pages

This 2nd edition was written to provide guidance to the contractor in the effective use of modern project management techniques. The primary objective of the new book is to provide an educational tool that can be used within the construction industry to teach the concepts of construction planning and scheduling. The content of the book is written for all project personnel, from the working foreman to the project executive.
