Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi All

I have just tried adding a new SQLite db to P6 R15.1 and receive the following message.

'You already have the maximum number of databases configured. Please delete an existing configuration before adding a new one'

I have deleted a number of db's but continue to receive the message. Have also tried repairing the application from the setup disks but still no good.

Has anyone else come across this issue or heard of it?

Thanks in advance

Laurent

Thanks Zoltan

It works by clicking 'configre' and doing as you say. Clicking 'Add' obviously has issues.

I just counted my DB's and actually have 70+. New DB for each new client, some larger projects have their own DB.

SQLite is great when you have to import multiple xer's for claims etc. Can then easily forward DB to others.

Cheers

P6 lets you create 50 databases why do you need so many ?

There is a Workaround:

To create more than 50 database aliases by selecting 'Configure' at the P6 Professional login screen, and entering a new 'Database Alias' name.
