Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

I’ve encounter the problem like this:

i’ve installed Project server 2003 and WSS in the same
server.
and i’ve upgraded the WSS by the Project Server install
disc.
However when i tried to link the Project Server to the WSS,
It can create the "Public Documents site "
and all of my link can work properly.
However when i click "save changes" in Admin > Manage WSS,
it tells me that "the server is not extended with WSS"

whats wrong with that?

It sounds like the initial install process may not have been done correctly - did you ever resolve this issue? You do need to install WSS first and to follow specific steps to achieve a workable install.
