Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Dear PP Admin

If we try to search in for contact using the company’s names we find out that different people working in same company end up with different company names. Some use the full name while other uses the abrivaitions.

To control this it might be done that a drag down list or popup web page may appear showing the names of exisiting companies from the companies database. New PPer shall have the option to pick up an exisiting company or enlist a new comapny. I know this will again not be an error proof system but it will lessen the intensity of issue.
