Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Dear All,

Is it allowed as per FIDIC, for a Contractor to submit the detailed claim (WITHOUT A NOTICE) within 28 days after the Contractor became aware of the event.

For eg: the Contractor submitted the impacted schedule with delay event/supporting documents soon after they became aware that the Employer delay is started affecting the Contract Completion date.

Can the Emplyer reject the claim by saying that the Contractor didn't submit the notice of delay and directly submit the claim with the TIA programme.

Regards

Kannan
