Current Role

I am currently contracted to British Energy as a Programme/Project Planner for their Refuelling

Outage. As part of the outage planning team I hold overall responsibility for the preparation, implementation,

monitoring, and management for the Cooling Water project and Steam & Feed systems. The Refuelling Outage

is planned using Primavera P6.

My responsibilities include:

Liaising with system owners and contract groups ensuring that all mandatory, statutory, routine, corrective,

contingency and project tasks are planned and resourced to the required levels.

Preparing Safety Document Assemblies and associated Selected Persons Requests to support the outage.

Developing histograms and liaising with the work groups with the primary aim of agreeing manning levels

and to resolve issues that arise from work scope reviews.

During refuelling outages I am required to review and monitor critical/near critical activities and progress or replan

as required and provide daily progress reports and up to date plans to ensure that all planned and emergent

tasks are completed in line with the Master Outage Plan. I have completed one cycle with this system during

RO10 and am currently planning RO11 which will be executed in Sept 2011.

I was responsible planning for Control and Instrumentation Reactor Systems during the 6 month Force Outage

here at SZB. This was a critical path activity during the Outage.
