Planning Engineer, EIED, Hormuz oil refinery Plant (EP) Consortiums: EIED Co. , OIEC Group, ODCC Co.

Tasks:

  • Producing detailed plan for the EP project (Engineering/ Procurement) in Primavera by considering logical relation within and between activities of different phases of the project; based on the scope of work which is defined in contract.
  • Updating the time schedule regularly as agreed in contract, based on events occurred in the project, for all activities in Engineering Phase (issued documents, critical dates, etc) and Procurement Phase (purchase, fabrication, test, delivery, transport, etc)
  • Preparing of Procedures & Work Instructions of Planning and Project Control like Numbering and coding, Scheduling Procedure, Communication Procedure and Progress Measurement.
  • Accurate forecasting of Resource requirements for project’s activities in terms of Man-Hours and aligning the planned activities with the estimated resources.
  • Monitoring and control procurement activities (MR, TBE, PO) and report deviations.
  • Continues Communication with other technical departments (Engineering and Procurement), data gathering, and deviation reports as well as MOM preparation on the weekly basis.
  • Preparation monthly and weekly reports based on client and management’s request; like Progress Report, Man-Hour performance, Earned Value, S-Curves, etc.
  • Ensuring of receiving on-time services as per time schedule from sub-contractors, monitoring their plan, and report deviation
  • Analysis and report the effect of deviations on overall project’s plan.
  • Modifying document control system software based on project requirements.
  • Management of a small team including couple of project planning engineers.
  • Risk plan preparation and Quantitative Risk analysis (QRA)
  • Budget and Risk Procedures Preparation and Updating
