-To know about the scope of a project and how its being planned.
-Provide regular key information to management reporting on schedule.
-Review scope change request for the impact on schedule and critical path of the project.
-To develop and manage a centralized planning and control system for the overall production Project portfolio that will facilitate project delivery within established targets.
-Provide monthly progress updates, forecast completion together with the critical path and trend analysis.

  • Implementation of Primavera v6.0 and Microsoft Project planning system
  • Creation of integrated Level III E, P & C schedule.
  • Integration of Schedule Risk Analysis tool (Pert Master) into projects.
  • Continued maintaining and updating, monitoring of the full capacity schedule to the Construction work.
  • Providing support to cost control group for running cash flows through manpower and quantity histograms.
  • Interfacing with various stake holders project definitions, Engineering, work package development, construction, Pre commissioning and Start Up.
  • Preparation of entire EPC schedules from scratch after consulting drawings and contract documents
  • Development of Shutdowns and tie-in schedules
  • Detailed critical path and schedule analysis
  • Monthly/weekly progress reporting
  • Formulation of percentage progress calculation methods for entire EPC projects
    Head office based planning for engineering and procurement, Engineering progress and performance reports
  • Identification of trends/estimating and preparation and maintenance of cost control and trend reports
  • Formulation of quantity tracking systems , Installation S-curves for different commodities
  • Project Review presentations / Bulk material requirement planning
  • Identification of problem areas, formulation of action/contingency plans
  • Review and approval of vendors’/contractors’ schedules
  • Coordination with client, consortium partners and subcontractors (whichever applicable) to sort out schedule/claim related issues and helping management to solve several relevant problems
  • Maintain permanent communication with the Site manager and Planners on site about the progress of work
