The assignment for Alstom Power involved deployment of Primavera throughout the Engineering and Manufacturing facilities worldwide. Working at their HQ in Baden Switzerland the initial task involved producing a specification for database configuration to be utilized as a global standard. This was achieved by facilitating workshops with the stakeholders in USA, Germany, Indonesia, India, China, Portugal and Czech Republic.

The next stage was to standardize processes throughout including resource management, schedule integration and machine shop capacity planning. This involved producing a compliancy and proof of concept document against a requirement specification which contained over 150
requirements.

Manufacturing machine capacity planning involved producing data on global capacity against regions, factories, process types and individual machine capacity covering 10 manufacturing sites. This was later developed into dashboard format in P6 Web which allowed in depth planning and scenario planning to be carried out by executives at HQ.
