START Date:

END Date:

Position     : PLANNING ENGINEER
Using SAP-R3 system and MS Project Planner as the primary planning tools in the facility maintenance works on low-security areas of Saudi Aramco Yanbu Plants such as the NGL, COT, Refinery, Bulk Plant, and its community area facilities, I was able to accomplish the over 200 small to large scale projects which were continuously and simultaneously executed in the average of 5 to 12 projects at a time. The type of projects I was involved with ranges from small to large scale fit-out and renovation works that includes some new MEP and communication facilities, and in new construction of a small office building, security gates, sewerage piping, landscaping, and community recreational facilities such as a swimming pool, a gym, and additional structures in their exclusive beach resort such as 5-gazeboes, grilling shades, and a sand football field. All works were successfully executed in compliance to Aramco’s project specifications and strict HSSE and Loss Prevention policies from start to completion commencing from ocular site inspection and all the way through coordination with the technical department, quantity take-off and estimation, ordering and delivery tracking of materials, material issuance, work scheduling, schedule update and monitoring, weekly coordination meetings, and in constant communication and update with project proponents. Analysis, notes, recommendations and comments to the project’s technical aspects had also been part in my pre-planning phase and so with the on-site work execution. I also was undertaking the completed project’s handover by the contractor for final acceptance. In some occasions as per directive from Aramco’s supervisor, I was tasked and have completed urgent preparation of engineering packages (scope of work and specifications, structural design, shop drawings, quantity take-off and budgetary estimates) that could not be accommodated by its Technical Support Group. Participation to Aramco’s periodic and occasional seminars and trainings in SAP-R3, MS Project, HSSE and Loss Prevention has been attended to gain more knowledge in project management and implementation.
In general, I performed other tasks deem necessary in the successful project planning and implementations.
