EOT CLAIM ANALYSIS
Hi All,
Presently Im working on EOT Claim analysis to be submitted to my client. The problem Im facing now is that I dont have any progress schedules in primavera despite of a recovery schedule prepared by a former planner. Also I have planned to do AsBuilt versus Planned analysis,so should I update the schedule on baseline schedule itself.Should I keep the data date same as that of baseline start date because the project has been delayed by 2 years but this delay has happened with client knowledge itself. So my doubt is what should be the data date to schedule my As built schedule and is my method the appropriate means to do thos analysis.

Data Date
Hi Prajeesh,
As per the info what you have given the project start date have slipped to slmoast 2 years so there might be a letter or correspondance with the Management of your Client n your company about the new Contract Effective Date. As you know 2 year is not a really less time to claim EOT so I guess there is a revised Contract award date. "Please cehck with your Project Manager"
If there is no Correspondance regarding this matter then you can keep the same baseline data date and update it. Then you can claim EOT for the 2 year delay. Anyway your project manager would let you know all the details so please have a chat with him before you start updating.
Thanks
Jithin
EOT Claim
Hi Prajeesh
Without any contemporay records the best option you will have is to do a As Planned Impact assesment. This is not a prefered method but may be the best option from my understanding of the information you have available.
Hope this helps
Cheers
