As a Project Management Consultant, i was responsible for setting up a PMO for Saudi Telecom Company, STC, the biggest GSM operator in the Middle-East

Role:

  • Participating in the design of the PMO system according to the PMI standards. Including design of the standard templates, forms, and processes.
  • Developing schedules for about 25 projects budgeted around SAR 60,000,000 each week, with Allocated resources and cost.
  • Implementing a re-structuring project to the departments to get better performance and avoid duplicate work.
  • Applying regular updates on the system, measure progress, take corrective and preventive actions, developing different reports types include financial reports. Negotiating prices with vendors and suppliers and conclude contracts.
  • Formulation and successful implementation of management strategies including product development simulation, control methodologies for budgets, cost, safeguarding the expenses and physical Assets of the firm, controlling quality procedures.
  • Monitoring the construction operations, costing, production planning, inventory management system, warehousing, purchasing quality, quality assurance, safety environmental aspects, ensuring defined quality standards are met and all plant existing facilities are efficiently utilized with working capital targets.
  • Interpreting and administering polices, procedures and keeping there abreast for the progress and results, ensuring that organization structures at all levels are most efficient for operations and in conjunction with departmental managers, hiring / developing a professional staff, setting motivation system  and create healthy environment to meet personal interests and firm objectives.
  • Reviewing and evaluating the financial statements and results (cash flow report, forecast, treasury, tax returns, profit and loss statements, banking statement, loans, balance sheet and ROI).
