·         Implementation and monitoring of QCP and QMS system on site

·         Communicating with Foreman  and Site Agent

·         Managing a team and myself

·         Ensure site safety compliance and quality assurance

·         Internal & external client relationship management

·         Involved  in financial controls (Ordering process) and asset management (Plant Maintenance and    servicing schedules)

·         Knowledge of contract conditions and project specifications

·         Involved in morning production meetings (Infocoms)

·         Effective programming for long and short term milestones

·         Effective management of  sub-contractors and resources in order to achieve targets

·         Liaise with subcontractor and drive them to achieve commitments for program

·         Delivery of all material & plant related issues to various sites (Logistics)

·         Responsible for all roadmarking & Signage that needs to be ordered and installed on various stations.

·         Setting out kerb & Channel levels within tolerance and checking accuracy thereof.

Recently I have been appointed to manage a sub-contractor for a Variation order to the value of R12m. The extent of the works included road widening, kerbing & Channeling, stormwater and sewer installation, Erection of new signage, roadmarking, and Milling & Filling the Long/Kloof Intersection. I had to ensure that we reach our milestones, as set out in the construction program. Weekly progress meetings were held to ensure that we stay on track and stay within the allocated 16 weeks, which was a tall order to start with
