Planning Specialist, Karachaganak Petroleum Operating BV, Karachaganak Development Project – Phase II

Phase II involved an investment of over US$ 1 billion into the construction and enhancement of existing facilities, new gas and liquid processing and gas injection facilities, a workover program consisting of 100 existing wells, a 120 MW power station for the facilities, and laying a new 650 kilometre pipeline to connect the field to the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) system at Atyrau. Production capacity of 200,000 barrels of oil per day.

Joined the Client management team (KIO) to be responsible for monitoring the Main Works Contractor’s performance at Unit 2 - Oil and Condensate processing plant with Gas Re-injection facilities, all associated buildings and utility services. Advising technical issues, identifying and contributing to the resolution of holds and delays. Providing a planning and scheduling service to the project in accordance with Contract Execution Procedure. Maintaining liaison with Project Management on all matters related to Planning.
