*                  Keeping track of list of MAS approved, quantity required, quantity ordered, quantity received, balance quantity to be delivered, schedule of balance material delivery, follow up with vendor for balance material delivery.                    

 

* Liaise with major equipment supplier, consultant, client, owner for Factory Acceptance Test. Keeping Track of FAT status of each equipment in detail including engineering status (base design approval & detailed design approval, SLD approval, equipment layout approval),  

* Management of Storage of Equipments- Ensure proper storage of major equipments as per the storage instruction given by the manufacturer (Indoor without A/c, Indoor with A/c, Outdoor). Also ensure proper storage of other materials as per standard storage practice. Segregate the materials with proper identification / layout for easy approach. Planning for keeping heavy equipments to its erection location directly to avoid unnecessary handling of heavy equipments, Observe the physical condition of material on receipt at site, Getting approval of Receipt Cum Damage Report from site consultant and client, Claim against approved RCDR.

 

* Management of Handling of Heavy Equipments- Prior to receipt of heavy equipments at site, Ensure Access road levelling, compaction & readiness, Work frond readiness, Loading and unloading equipments readiness, Check and review the requirements of Loading & unloading equipments at erection site in consultation with Foreman and P&M Team, Skilled work force readiness, Assurance of erection layout with respect to RFC drawings, & Get clearance for usage from HSE who Check the physical condition of equipments, vehicle certificate approval, Tools and Tackles approval certificate.

(NJS) was established in 1951 in Tokyo, Japan, and is a major independent international multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm, specializing in environmental engineering, water supply, sanitary and civil engineering, togetherwith institutional development, training and financial management activities related to environmental projects.

Project Features
Provision of new wastewater treatment and reuse scheme to serve the rapidly developing Al Amerat and Al Hajir districts of Muscat Governorate with expected population of about 50,000 in 2027; construction of the following facilities: 2 wastewater treatment plants using activated sludge/MBR treatment processes in Al Amerat with a maximum design capacity of 36 MLD by 2017 and in Al Hajir with maximum design capacity of 16 MLD by 2017; sewage collection systems including 7,000 house connections,130 km rider sewers of 150 mm diameter, 266 km main and local sewers of 200 mm and 300 mm diameter, 50 km trunk sewers of 800 mm diameter, and 4 sewage pump stations (the largest pump station has a capacity of 250 L/s) pumping sewage to the treatment plants through 14 km of pumping main up to 600 mm diameter; treated effluent system comprising of storage reservoirs, pump stations and a network of 56 km pipelines distributing treated effluent for use in landscape irrigation among others.
