WORK EXPERIENCE:

Currently working as aQC INSPECTOR AT (KPIOS)(KUWAIT PIPE INDUSTRIES AND OIL SERVICE & ISO PLUS MIDDLE EAST).

Jan 2012 till now.

 

·         Projects Undertaken:

·         Working in Isoplus, Kuwait a reputed pre-insulated pipe production company as a QC Inspector (KOC PROJECT) for Polyurethane Thermal Insulation & Moisture Monitoring System. The project is for Installation of LSFO, FG and Gas oil pipelines from MAA to Subiya & Doha Power Stations.

·         Responsibilities as QC Inspector:

·         Control and monitor the condition of Goods/Packing delivered

·         Ensuring the manufacturer instructions for the storage of raw material

·         Verification of batch certificates for polyol, isocyanate, HDPE and copper wires.

·         Performing the lab tests for polyurethane such as cream time, gel time & free rise density for every batch.

·         HDPE melt flow index test as per ISO 1133:2005 for every batch.

·         Dimension check for every batch of copper wires.

·         Visual Inspection of HDPE casing pipe to ensure it is free from grooving and other defects.

·         Dimensional control of HDPE casing pipe every two hours as per ITP.(Inspection and Test Plan) From KOC.

·         HDPE jacket corona treatment every two hours to ensure the surface energy of casing pipes.

·         Perform the HDPE casing offline tests such as density on extruded material, melt flow rate etc.

·         Polypropylene coated pipe visual inspection after washing.

·         Holiday detection of PP pipes to ensure no damage at 25 kV

·         3LPP pipes corona treatment every two hours to ensure the minimum surface energy required.

·         Monitor the ambient temperature at injection area and injection time control to ensure reach of foam properties.

·         Core density tests every shift to ensure the Polyurethane properties.

·         Checking of HDPE jacket pipe final diameter, cutback, marking, leak detection wire continuity, marking and final inspection of all the pipes produced in the shift.

Prepare the daily production report and test reports.
