Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist the Project Control Manager to update and reassess the budget of the Project.
  • Follow up the expenditures comparing with the budget, forecast the incoming expenditures, and analyze the budget to minimize the cash flow problem.
  • Prepare the monthly progress report
  • Prepare contracts and validate the contracts payment.
  • Develop Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) in conjunction with Project Management Team and Clients. The WBS forms the basis of the CPM Logic Diagrams.
  • Responsible for coordination, preparation, monitoring and maintenance of the Nam Theun 2 Project Schedules in two parts; The Development Phase of the Project until Financial Close, and the Construction Phase into the Operation and Maintenance Phase.
  • Responsible for Preparing detailed CPM Logic Diagrams in conjunction with Chief Executive Officer, Commercial and Contracts Manager and other Department Managers including monitors and updates the Schedule with actual hours expended and estimates to complete in conjunction with the Cost Controller.
  • Highlights problem areas during schedule updates to the Commercial and Contracts Manager in order to minimize schedule impacts
  • Provide scheduling system advisory services to other Branches of the organization.
  • Assist the Commercial and Contracts Manager in the preparation and presentation of schedules that support the contractual position of the Project Company in any negotiations with its Contractors.
