I have been workin the building Construction and Civil Engineering industry as for over five years as an Assistant Project Manager and Assistant Quantity Surveyer respectively.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES: Assistant Project Manager

I provided administration and guidance support on several projects in the above organization. I assisted to set up project document files and maintaining them. Such documents are project files: Stage file, Quality file and Health & Safety issues.

I assisted in organizing project progressive meetings; Running meetings; writing and distributing minutes to all stakeholders. I also get involved in the Quality review processing of the project deliverables.

I provided support in creating and developing project stage plan, by using the organization system planning and control tools. I gave an account on activities schedule; Time frame, Resources and Costing, whenever it is needed.

I supported the project manager in Risk Assessment, by logging in any risk which would be identified. I analyzed its proximity and impact it would have on Time, Cost, Quality and scope. I do monitor and control after decision had been made.

I assisted in processing any request for change whenever it’s needed, by writing exception report and provided exception plan to replace the stage plan. I recorded all project issues which will form part of any future audit. I updated project plan and risk log on the management reporting system.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assistant Quuantity Surveyor
 During the time I was working at the above mentioned establishment as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, I was responsible for taken off construction project measurements on plan and site from sub-structure to super- structure. Thus to ensure, the measurement conforms to the specification given. In order to make an account of valuation payments and also work out any variation. I prepared Bill of Quantities.

I provided assistants in processing tender for sub-contractors and suppliers to bid for any specialist work. I also helped in preparation of contract documents, such as joint contract tribunal and new engineering contract. I was responsible for the safe keeping of files and documents.

I assisted in preparation of final account of the organization contracts and also at the financial year. I helped in estimating both the variable and the fixed cost. So as to be able to ascertain the total cost, that is needed to develop the cost plan to meet the financial target.

I scrutinized all collated data to enable me to get an accurate estimation of what is needed, in other to come out with a budgetary statement.

I also input all necessary information pertaining to the project within the organization management reporting system.
