BP Oil/Petroplus Coryton Refinery Asset Planner

September 2001 – December 2008

Maintenance Unit Leader responsible for leading a multi-disciplined team to complete the Primavera plan on time, on budget and safely. I have completed this role successfully on many occasions demonstrating the strength of character required to successfully execute projects.

Project managed a number of unit shutdowns (FCCU, Crude Unit, Isom & Sulphur units). Completed all pre-scoping, resource levelling, budget control and produced Primavera Plan. Project managed work through to completion meeting the scheduled, cost and safety milestones.

Pre-scoped all maintenance jobs raised through our computerised maintenance management system, completing site visits to scope the work, plan the resources and the budget and then input this into the system to produce maintenance schedules. Managed safety, progress and quality issues in order to reduce lost time and rework.

Produced weekly, monthly and yearly Primavera schedules for our maintenance work force on site. Updated the plan each week to reflect the work completed and to report on performance achieved. Set milestones and identified critical activities to ensure completion dates and schedules were met.
