  • Built up a Project Management Office from scratch and led the operation. Set the goals and strategies, hired the team, created a standard framework, processes and toolset, reviewed the performance and improved it to deliver business values. The team had more than 20 engineer and employees.
  • Established a PMO and completed launch of project management methodology, processes and standards in the largest steel producer in the Middle East.The outcome has been lucratively piloted for client’s four main programs with total contract values of $1,200,000,000.
  • Orchestrated project planning and control team of an EPC contract. The project won IPMA Iran’s silver award in Project Excellence in 2012. Project management method and artifacts such as master schedule, project plan, progress measurement document and coordination procedures are developed or revised.
  • Developed a comprehensive report format which proudly has been adopted in Ministry of Industry for all similar projects. Report pack consisted of an interactional PowerPoint deck catered by automated Excel files using macros, pivot tables and formulas.
  • Designed an EDMS system to track engineering deliverables hence verify design progress while planned multi-disciplinary engineering activities; caused to tangible efficiency in electrical and utility divisions.
  • Collaborated cross-functionally to develop project and program financial plan and cost estimation, resource allocation and delivery tracking.
  • Solved the problem of long due invoice review and approval process and decreased the duration by %30 by an optimized cost control system.
  • Monitored projects through baseline tracking, S-Curves and earned value metrics e.g. SPI and CPI.
  • Planed resource demand through liaising with engineering disciplines’ leads and project managers.
  • Attended all the necessary project meetings e.g. weekly status meetings and monthly leadership meetings.
  • Performed delay analysis through liaising with project team to identify corrective/preventive actions.
