DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Sr. Projects Controller, Project Controls Coordinator, Supervisor & Planning/Scheduling/Costing:

 

  • Establish / implement an operating procedures / guidelines and preventive program for newly awarded project.
  • Provides pre-implementation planning/scheduling, costing and quantity surveying work on newly awarded projects which include, but not limited to: development of the baseline schedule with s-curve and manpower/equipment schedules.
  • Coordinates with all Departments across the company and every project’s (Project Controls staff) to ensure smooth delivery of project controls – related information required by the department.
  • Review and analysis cost/schedule problems reports submitted by the projects and advising solutions.
  • Conducts frequent site visits to review/check projects controls operations and to provide immediate assistance whenever required.
  • Coordinates with Project Manager, PCD staff, Engineering Department, Contracts Department, Finance/Accounting Department and Central Warehouse Department to compile necessary documents for troubled-projects.
  • Preparation primavera (P3) master construction baseline schedule.
  • Prepare three weeks look-ahead & three months look-ahead schedules based on approved master construction schedule considering actual site condition and information from the field/construction people.
  • Preparation of weekly and monthly progress plan targets.
  • Coordinate with the construction group and construction managers problem encountered in schedule.
  • Generate progress s-curves & quantity s-curves.
  • Prepare manpower & equipment forecast needed for the project.
  • Prepare & reconcile monthly cost forecast of the project.
  • Prepare monthly PMCR (Project Management Controls Report)
  • Update primavera (P3) master construction schedule based on weekly and monthly progress report.
  • Perform all other work assigned by the Department Manager

 

Quantity Tracker/Surveyor:

 

  • Handling estimates & cost control, the tendering process & after contract award.
  • Conduct estimate and materials take-off required to complete a certain scope of work specified based on drawing.
  • Interpret Plans and determine precise measurements procedures and methodology.
  • Daily / weekly progress monitoring, Planned Vs. Actual including man-hours based on daily labor distribution.
  • Posts / updates the progress monitoring board and project status board.
  • Prepare tender analysis for additional and rectification works.

             Coordinate with the construction group and project manager problem encountered in site.
