Estimation Engineer ( Pre Contract ): Sep 2009 till date • Receive assignments and bid documents from the Business Development Manager or Head of Projects. • Study the project scope of works, clients' requirement, BOQ, project milestones, and specification from  the supplied bid documents.  • Prepare the Indirect Cost of the project E.g. Supervisory manpower, temporary facilities both for the      contractor / client, sub-contractor, site overheads and running expenses.  • Prepare Estimation of the project. • Coordinate with Planning Engineer for the Construction Schedule and Resource (Material & HR)  Schedule.  • Participate in the Clarification Meetings.  • Ask for Sub contractors Quotation as well as suppliers, and participate in the negotiations.Senior Cost Engineer  (Pre & Post Contract): September 2008 - Aug 2009 • Directly reported to QS Manager and Project Director. • Cost analysis and cost monitoring for project works. • Preparation of detailed cost comparison and provide advice to the management regarding the options  for organizing resources.  • Reading of Measurement Books and Back-up documents for executed works’ monthly valuation. • On-site quantities executed works’ calculations & correspondence with site-engineers. • Negotiation with the clients’ representatives regarding the valuations and variations etc.  • Valuation and Billing for on-going projects and inter-office correspondence with Technical department  and Planning Dept. • Prepared and studied specifications, drawings, bill of quantities etc and Preparation of Query/Question  list, List out discrepancies, etc and forward to the client for clarification. • Collection of Subcontractors quotations preparation of comparative statement, study of qualifications,  verifying with specifications, negotiations and finalization. • Reconciliation of concrete, steel reinforcement and all finishing items.  • Sub Contractor Invoice Certification as per terms & Conditions.
