Package C01A: Earthworks (253, 329, 195.00 S.R. Contract value):

Package C01B: Utilities tunnels (164, 235, 121.81 S.R. Contract value):

  • This package comprises the construction of utilities tunnel across the south and north sides of Thumamah Road and along the Wadi area complete with the structure, electro-mechanical and drainage works serving this tunnel, traffic diversion of Thumamah Road, excavation and backfilling to these utilities tunnel and architectural finishes.

Package C01C: Subterranean Road & underneath utilities (315, 786, 526.00 S.R. Contract value):

  • This package comprises the construction of Utilities Tunnel; Subterranean Super-Structure works (Bridges), Emergency Exits, Access Ramps, Ground and Subterranean Roads, Drainage and Electro-Mechanical works.
  • Carry out a Value Engineering (VE) report on the original Project to identify operational issues, inefficiencies, cost savings and engineering improvements.
  • Define the Road Map, which includes updating the Airport Master Plan to include the recommendations and actions indicated in the value engineering report.
  • Provide assistance and supervision services during design stage in accordance to the VE report.
  • Develop plans and tracking procurement and logistics
  • Attend progress meetings between client, contractors and their subcontractors.
  • Establish and maintain consistent and adequate administration procedures.
  • Monitor and supervise procurement schedule to ensure material delivery will met as planned.
  • Establish progress-monitoring tools for the client and prepares Weekly & Monthly progress report including dashboard, cash flow and histogram with risk analysis.
  • Review updated schedule and prepares recovery plans and assessment in case slippage occurs.
  • Review and evaluates the schedules and related documents including monthly reports and analyses the content to ensure compliance with project objectives.
  • Performs other duties associated as may be appropriate and directed.
  • Review correspondences from contractors and or client and prepare response in a timely manner.

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Reviews project milestones in conjunction with the project scope.
  • Reviews & approve construction schedule submittals including material submittals & revised schedules.
  • Review of claims & other variation orders.
  • Review updated program & cash flow for progress status reflecting Histogram & S-Curve including Manpower allocation. Identification of schedule variances against baseline programme.
  • Monitors and update projects schedules status by weekly and monthly basis.
  • Prepares weekly & monthly report with recommendations & mitigation when slippage occurs.
  • Monitoring progress throughout the construction process and comparing this with the projected schedule of work (baseline).
  • Integration & Monitoring of all contractors including sub-contractors programme & analysing progress status & to issue the team for any project variances and or potential problems.
  • Forecasting & provide trending analysis to progress measurement & includes productivity analysis.
  • Organize & chairs coordination meeting for proper implementation of the project documentation, this includes cost & schedule, reporting system & project budgeted cost and any relevant issues.
  • Attend progress minutes of meeting (MOM) held by contractor & client by weekly.
